Allis Chalmers Tractors

1939 Allis Chalmers B

This tractor is a hand crank and has hand brakes - it starts first crank (almost) every time!

David as always loved old tractors and  bought this old Allis B for "yard art" and to just play around with. It eventually  became an obsession (as usual) and ended up looking like it now does - totally restored.

1937 Allis Chalmers WC unstyled

This is a 1937 Allis Chalmers WC unstyled. The "unstyled" WC is not as common in the south as the "styled" models and after a long search, we finally found this one on the internet in Virginia.

It also is a hand crank and has hand brakes.

It is a much bigger and more powerful tractor then the B and is kinda like driving a tank - great fun!

We really hope to get this one restored in the near future. So far we have replaced the transmission, fixed a cracked block and are now replacing bearings in the rear end.  None of these problems came with the tractor - talk about learning the hard way!

This is a 1948 Allis Chalmers G. 1948 was the first model year for the G which makes this one kind of neat. It was designed  for small gardens and as a lawn tractor.

This is Mindy's tractor and as you can see, SHE has quite a ways to go on it!
